In compliance with the provisions of article 7.1. of Royal Decree-Law 5/2015, of April 30, on urgent measures in relation to the commercialization of the rights to exploit audiovisual content of professional football competitions (hereinafter, RD) and, among others, of article 2 of Royal Decree 2/2018 of January 12 that implements it, the Supervisory Body for the management of the audiovisual rights of the National Professional Football League proceeds to publish “(...) the criteria for the distribution of audiovisual revenues, the amounts corresponding to each participating entity and the amounts contributed in fulfilment of the obligations provided for in article 6.1 (…)”.
The following tables provide a breakdown of the amounts distributed to each participating entity in the different categories, as well as the amounts contributed in compliance with the obligations provided for in article 6.1. of the same legal body at the close of the 2022/2023 season, without prejudice to any updating, if necessary, by the Supervisory Body for the management of audiovisual rights:

*In addition, it should be remembered that within the obligations applicable to the 2022/2023 Season of article 6.1 of the RD, section a) includes the obligation to allocate 2.5% to a Compensation Fund from which sports entities competing in professional football competitions that are relegated to a lower category may benefit. The Clubs/SADs which, at the end of the 2021/2022 season, were relegated and therefore entitled to receive such compensation during the 2022/2023 season were those relegated to the Segunda División A, highlighted in the table above with an asterisk (*), and those relegated to the RFEF Primera División[2], as follows[3]:
Likewise, for the purposes of verifying compliance with the provisions of article 5.5 of the RD, which establishes that the difference between the clubs and entities with the highest and lowest income may not exceed 3.5 times, given that the distribution exceeds 1,500 million euros, any amounts received from the Compensation Fund provided for in point (a) of article 6.1, as well as any income received by the participating entities from the licensees of the exclusive exploitation of audiovisual rights as consideration for any other commercial relationship, shall be taken into account.
The revenues obtained from the joint exploitation and commercialization of the audiovisual rights of the Campeonato Nacional de Liga (LIGA EASPORTS and LIGA HYPERMOTION) have been distributed among the participating clubs and entities in the Primera and Segunda División A, in accordance with the criteria set out in article 5 of RD “Criteria for the distribution of revenues among participants in the Campeonato Nacional de Liga”.
In such a way that:

According to article 5.3.b). 1º of the RD, given that the Segunda División A has more than 20 participants (section in fine), the percentages received according to the sporting results obtained have been adjusted in accordance with the provisions of the following section of the same article, respecting the progressive nature of the results, as shown in the following table:

In accordance with article 5.3.b). 2º of the RD the percentages distributed to the participants in the Primera and Segunda División A on the basis of the social establishment have been determined in accordance with the following criteria: one third from the average season ticket and box office takings over the last five seasons, and the other two thirds from its share in the generation of resources from the commercialization of television broadcasts, by comparing the average audiences obtained by each of them in each season. The latter criterion was duly approved by the respective Division Committee of each category at their meetings held on December 11, 2015. In addition, for the 2022/2023 Season, the resolutions of the Division Committees dated June 29, 2022 are also applicable, whereby, as proposed by the Supervisory Authority on April 12, 2022, exceptional social implementation criteria were laid down in view of the situation caused by Covid.

[1] By way of clarification, article 6.1 has undergone successive modifications during 2020 and 2021. Thus, final provision 5.3. of Royal Decree-Law 15/2020, of April 21, on urgent supplementary measures to support the economy and employment entailed the modification of points a) and c) and the addition of point f). Subsequently, article 3.2. of Royal Decree-Law 15/2021, of July 13, has again modified point (c) of the aforementioned article.
