Fans of Real Betis and RC Celta have been having a lot of fun in LALIGA EA SPORTS of late, with these two clubs having put together excellent runs of form. They’re both picking up points and playing excellent vertical football atAfoutezae time, always looking to keep possession and create danger in front of the opposition goal.

Manuel Pellegrini makes Real Betis history: The coach with the most LALIGA EA SPORTS victories

In the case of Real Betis, they’ve won five games in a row in LALIGA EA SPORTS, most recently coming from two goals down to defeat CD Leganés 3-2 at the Estadio de Butarque. It looked like their winning run might be coming to an end, but Los Béticos showed their class and took the three points.

This victory also means that Manuel Pellegrini has become the coach with the most top division wins in the history of Los Verdiblancos, having secured 79 victories in his 180 LALIGA EA SPORTS matches in charge. This only adds to the Chilean coach’s legacy at the Andalusian club, where he is already regarded as one of the best ever.

Los Verdiblancos may not have started this season in the best form, but the return of Isco from injury, the emergence of youth teamer Jesús Rodríguez and the winter signings of Antony and Cucho Hernández have catapulted the club into the European battle. They’re now level on points with fifth-placed Villarreal CF, which means they have a good chance of even reaching next season’s Champions League.

RC Celta dream of Europe with their young stars leading the way

Another team in excellent form in LALIGA EA SPORTS is RC Celta. In recent years, fans of the Galician club have been more concerned about relegation than anything else, but now they can dream of a possible ticket to Europe. With 10 games to go, they are on 39 points and in eighth, which is expected to be a position granting access to the Conference League. They are even just one point off the Europa League position currently held by RCD Mallorca.

Under the coaching of Claudio Giráldez's, RC Celta are playing attractive football with quick movement through the lines and good pressing in the opposition half. In fact, according to Beyond Stats, across the past few matchdays they have become the team that moves the ball the quickest in possession, even ahead of FC Barcelona and Real Madrid. RC Celta have now gone six games without defeat, with four wins and two draws, and seem to have struck the right balance in the team.

One of the main explanations for this upturn in form is the commitment the club from Vigo has shown to its youngsters. Players such as Hugo Álvarez, Hugo Sotelo, Pablo Durán, Javi Rodríguez, Alfon, Damián Rodríguez and Fer López have broken into the first team and are at the heart of the present and the future. With the coach knowing the club inside and out, understanding the famous Afouteza spirit to perfection, the supporters are excited about a bright and prosperous present and future.
