Quique Setién is the new coach of R. Betis

Enrique Setién Soler will coach R. Betis for the next three seasons, the LaLiga Santander club said in a statement on Friday.

The 58-year-old coached UD Las Palmas for the last two seasons and has extensive experience working in Spanish football. He has coached Racing de Santander, Polideportivo Ejido, CD Logroñés and CD Lugo among others. He has also worked overseas and coached Equatorial Guinea for a spell in 2006.

R.Betis said they were "aiming for a style of play that meets the demands of what Betis fans expect. It’s a style of football that we want to extend throughout the different categories of the club’s youth system.”
