Fernando Torres took his first steps as a footballer in this tournament and there is no doubt that the new generation of Los Rojiblancos players will be looking to imitate him. Atletico have impressed in recent outings in LALIGA FC FUTURES tournaments, and they will be looking to prove the enormous quality of their academy in Villarreal.

It was not so long ago that Lamine Yamal and Pau Cubarsi were competing in this tournament with FC Barcelona, and they are now impressing with the Catalan club’s first team in LALIGA EA SPORTS. LALIGA FC FUTURES returns as the showcase event for Los Azulgranas’ future superstars to demonstrate their talent as they vie to reclaim a trophy that they have won on numerous occasions.

REAL BETIS

Real Betis

With Joaquin Sanchez standing out as the maximum exponent of the Real Betis academy, Los Verdiblancos arrive in Vila-Real with nothing to lose and a determination to go as far as possible in LALIGA FC FUTURES. They have already shone in previous years and will hope to do so again.

REAL MADRID

Los Blancos lifted the trophy at the Estadio de la Ceramica following an excellent tournament that demonstrated the enormous power of a generation oozing quality. Now, with a new cohort of footballers, the capital club will attempt to defend the title which they won a year ago and which further swelled their great LALIGA FC FUTURES trophy haul.

SEVILLA FC

Jesus Navas is, perhaps, the man to emulate for the hundreds of academy players at the Sevillian club that “never gives up”. Two-time runners-up in previous editions, Sevilla are dreaming of reaching the final again, as they did in 2019, and they will be hoping to win it this time around.

UD LAS PALMAS

UD Las Palmas

The side from Gran Canaria established themselves as one of the breakout teams in the opening half of LALIGA EA SPORTS and UD Las Palmas will be dreaming of showing what they are made of and surprising everyone in Vila-Real too. Following Alberto Moleiro and Kirian Rodriguez in the present day, and the legendary Jonathan Viera in years gone by, the young talent of the Canary Islands will be on show once again in the province of Castellon.

VALENCIA CF

‘Pipo’ Baraja’s Valencia have refocused the spotlight on a Che academy who surpassed all expectations this season thanks to the likes of Javi Guerra, Pepelu and Diego Lopez. All of these stars who emerged from the Mestalla-based club’s lower ranks will be keeping an eye on what the new generation are capable of.

As the hosts, Villarreal are one of the teams to keep an eye on, given that they will have a yellow sea of loyal supporters tirelessly urging the Yellow Submarine to add a trophy to their cabinet. They already know what it feels like to win this tournament and will be keen to repeat the feat in front of their fans.

The Lezama academy will also be looking to make their mark in Vila-Real. Local talent is the lynchpin of the Basque outfit and in the tournament this new generation of fresh-faced players will attempt to show that they have the potential to one day become stars, just like others who emerged from the youth ranks, such as the Williams brothers and Unai Simon.

2024 has been a magical year for the club from Vitoria-Gasteiz. Deportivo Alaves have been celebrating the centenary of their stadium this 2023/24 season and there will be no shortage of motivation among Los Babazorros, all the way from the academy up to the first team. In LALIGA FC FUTURES we will enjoy the determination of a club which is continually sowing the seeds for an increasingly rosy future.

The Madrilenians are another team who have yet to win LALIGA FC FUTURES and they will be looking to make history in Vila-Real by showing off the values of the club: intensity, hard work and humility.

GIRONA FC

In LALIGA FC FUTURES, the young Girona FC players will want to replicate the superb season produced by their elders, with the first team having achieved an historic third-place finish. The Catalans head to the Estadio de la Ceramica looking to spring a surprise and rub shoulders with the very top teams as they bid to win this spectacular tournament.

RC CELTA

RC Celta

In their centenary year, RC Celta will play in a new edition of LALIGA FC FUTURES and will be looking to give their fans something to cheer about. Their song Oliveira dos cen anos (“Hundred-year-old olive tree”) will ring out at the Estadio de la Ceramica, where Los Celestes will be intent on giving their very best, always demonstrating plenty of courage and heart.

REAL SOCIEDAD

The Txuri-Urdin return for a new edition of LALIGA FC FUTURES with the objective – and why not? – of snagging their first trophy and continuing to prove that their academy is blooming. It has already contributed a strong contingent to the first team, with names such as Beñat Turrientes, Ander Barrenetxea, Martin Zubimendi and, of course, Mikel Oyarzabal.

With a development model that bears fruit thanks to the continual appearance of academy graduates in the first team, Osasuna return for a new edition of LALIGA FC FUTURES looking to go as deep as possible, because at Tajonar giving up is not an option.

GRANADA CF

The Granadans return to LALIGA FC FUTURES after a hiatus last season. Surpassing their run to the quarter-finals of two editions ago and proving their talent and quality will be the target for the Andalusian youngsters.

RAYO VALLECANO

The kids from the iconic capital club are involved in LALIGA FC FUTURES again, where they will be looking to match the quarter-final finish which they managed in the last edition. They may be a modest hometown team, but they have big dreams.

RCD MALLORCA

RCD Mallorca

The “demons” are back for LALIGA FC FUTURES. Los Bermellones leave their island to take on the top Under-12s teams on the national stage. Could they achieve a place in the quarter-finals?

Cádiz CF

Andalusian art and joy will shine on the Villarreal turf once again. The kids from Cadiz CF will play in a new edition of LALIGA FC FUTURES and try to take their club as far as possible. The spirit of Cadiz runs through their veins.

ALMERÍA

Almería

Los Indalicos will play in their second consecutive LALIGA FC FUTURES tournament. A team brimming with hope, dreams and ambition will step out onto the Estadio de la Ceramica playing surface looking to put in a breakout performance in this edition.
