Michel named LALIGA EA SPORTS Manager of the Month for September

Michel has been named the LALIGA EA SPORTS Manager of the Month for September. The mentality and tactics of the Madrilenian are being well received in the Girona FC dressing room in yet another season, and this was reflected in the results achieved by the team this month. They took 12 out of the 15 points on offer and moved up to third place.

Los Albirrojos reaped four victories this month, the first by the finest of margins over UD Las Palmas. On the following matchday, they battered Granada CF 4-2 away, then similarly dispatched RCD Mallorca 5-3 at home, before coming back from going a goal down away to Villarreal CF to win 2-1.

Michel wins his second LALIGA EA SPORTS Manager of the Month trophy, having outperformed September’s other high-flying head coaches: Xavi Hernandez (FC Barcelona) and Ernesto Valverde (Athletic Club).
