Málaga CF were invited to take part in the 8th UNESCO Youth Forum at the organisation’s headquarters in Paris, where the objective is to help make society better using the exuberance of youth.
UNESCO’s headquarters was covered in white and blue as assistants, speakers and the organisation’s director general Irina Bokova all wore the club’s colours. The entity is the sponsor of Málaga, with whom they share an interest in the welfare of youth, transmitting values such as fair play, the fight against doping and promoting tolerance between different cultures and races.
Representing Málaga CF at the forum was their director general Vicente Casado, deputy director general Manuel Novo, and the club’s vice-president Moayad Shatat, who also spoke on behalf of the Andalusia side about sporting values. The club’s academy was also represented by players Sofian and Pablo Ganet, and coach Raúl Iznata.
The 8th UNESCO Youth Form has brought together more than 500 young people from 150 countries over the 29th, 30th and 31st of October in Paris. The objective has been the exchange of points of view and experiences about global society.
