Lamine Yamal wins LALIGA EA SPORTS Goal of the Month for March

Lamine Yamal’s goal against RCD Mallorca has been selected as the LALIGA EA SPORTS Goal of the Month for March, an accolade awarded by LALIGA in partnership with GolBall. The young winger pulled a stunning finish out of the hat, with his shot across goal flying into the bottom corner and giving Barça all three points.

In the 73rd minute of the match and with the scores level at 0-0, Yamal received a pass from Lewandowski, cut inside and unleashed a powerful left-footed strike which flew straight into the bottom corner. His brilliant goal catapulted his team to victory and sent the crowd wild at the Lluis Companys.

The Barcelona number 27 topped the voting to take home the LALIGA EA SPORTS Goal of the Month trophy, fending off the competition from William Carvalho (Real Betis) and Strand Larsen (RC Celta).
