Sevilla D, the new team of Sevilla Football Club's academy, have confirmed the signing of American Aiden Webb. The player has already started training under coach Óscar Olomo and his coaching staff as preparations continue for the start of the league season.
Webb, who also hold holds Honduran nationality, described himself as a winger who is “fast, dynamic, and skilful," and has expressed his delight after training with his new teammates at the Ciudad Deportiva. "It's been a lot of fun, and I've learned a lot in the short time I've been here. I'm excited to keep growing, not only as a player but also as a person."
Regarding his adaptation, he pointed out that "it's very hot, and it's also hot where I was born. It's very beautiful; the country is amazing, and I would say the food is good too. The first week was tough; I had to adjust, but I think I finally found my rhythm and I'm gaining confidence."
Webb's arrival comes as part of the creation of Sevilla FC D as the club's new international team, and the American player is very grateful for the opportunity: "I think it's a great opportunity, and I'm very thankful to be here, playing at a big club with a lot of history and titles."
To finish, Webb sent a message to other players who want to keep developing in programs like Sevilla FC's international team: "Work hard every day, even when you don't feel like going to the gym or exercising. You just must do it. Those are the most important days, and even if you make a mistake, forget it and focus on what's next."
