A serious injury for Carlos Caballero

Carlos Caballero, Córdoba midfielder, has "torn the cruciate ligament in his left knee", according to Liga Adelante club's official website.

The 29-year-old, who picked up the injury during Sunday's clash with Real Jaén, will undergo surgery in the upcoming days and will be sidelined for the next few months. So far this season Caballero had appeared in 25 Liga Adelante games for Córdoba, starting 21 of them, and clocking up a total of 1,866 minutes of playing time, during which he has scored four goals.
