Luis Miguel Ramis has been appointed the coach of LaLiga 1l2l3 side UD Almeria until the end of the season. Ramis replaces interim coach Fran Fernandez, who was handed the reins following the departure of previous coach Fernando Soriano in February.
Ramis’ extensive experience dates back to his playing days in both LaLiga Santander and LaLiga 1l2l3. He played for Real Madrid, RC Deportivo and Sevilla FC, among others. Following retirement, Ramis coached in the Real Madrid youth system before taking charge of Real Madrid Castilla after Zinedine Zidane made the step up to manage the first team in January 2016.
Almeria currently lie in 20th place in LaLiga 1l2l3, four points off survival.
