The discuss of Reforming the Spanish Association of Professional Football Managers

Javier Tebas will open the floor to discuss ‘Reforms to the Spanish Association of Professional Football Managers’ alongside Xavier Juliá, the president of the Association of Football Managers. The event, which has been organised by the Professional Football Foundation (FFP), will take place in the headquarters of the Professional Football League, Madrid, from 9:45 to 14:00 on Tuesday.

The main aim of the discussion is to show the reality of day-to-day life for a professional manager, addressing their labour relationships with clubs, contractual agreements, the relationship between different institutions, as well as the representation and support received from the ANEF.

The president of the LFP will sit at the head of a table discussing ‘The reality of being a Spanish football manager compared to European counterparts and Spanish managers from different sports’. Also participating will be Luca Perdomi, the president of the Italian Association of Football Managers, Gerard Marsman, the president of the Dutch equivalent, José Pereira, representing Portugal; and Juan María Gavald, the president of the Spanish Association of Basketball Managers. Acting as a moderator will be Gaspar Díez, chief of sports in Europa Press.

Another table will discuss the ‘Reasons for rule changes and equality with the rest of Europe’ and will be attended by Alberto Palomar, a professor of Administrative Law (ANECA), Jorge Masía, from the law firm DLA Piper, and Miguel Ángel Lotina, a professional football coach. Moderating the discussion will be Olga Martín, the sports production head at EFE.
