The seventh round of fixtures in Liga Adelante confirmed RC Recreativo de Huelva as the team to beat after they downed Real Zaragoza 1-2 at La Romareda.
Meanwhile, Córdoba CF showed their strength at home, beating Girona CF and moving to within two points of the side from Andalusia. Level on points with Córdoba are Real Murcia and Real Sporting de Gijón, who beat CD Numancia and SD Eibar respectively.
In Sporting’s win the standout performer was the Serb Stefan Šćepović, who scored all three of his side’s goals, and now leads the scoring charts with eight.
CD Lugo and CD Mirandés both look to be in good form, and after three losses in a row, AD Alcorcón got back to winnings ways. RC Deportivo de La Coruña secured their third win on the road at Hércules CF, whilst FC Barcelona B dropped points for the first time at home against RCD Mallorca.
Finally, in the relegation zone, CD Tenerife recorded their first win of the campaign, defeating bottom of the table Real Madrid Castilla, who remain the only side in the league yet to secure a single point.
