SD Huesca 2-0 UD Almeria

Luis Tevenet's team built on last weekend's triumph over R. Valladolid CF to make it back-to-back victories. Huesca simply had too much for their Andalusian visitors, who had no answer to goals from Juanjo Camacho and Alvaro Vadillo, the latter of whom opened his account for the hosts.

Nastic 1-1 Sevilla Atletico

The Catalans just can't seem to get going this season and they will see this very much as a missed opportunity to claim that elusive first win after having taken the lead through Ikechukwu Uche's well-taken finish. Nastic were only ahead for 12 minutes, though, before Bernardo made it 1-1 with a glancing header and the scoreline stayed that way for the rest of the encounter.

AD Alcorcon 1-0 Elche CF

Alcorcon edged past Elche with the narrowest of victories at Santo Domingo. The only goal of the game came courtesy of the talismanic David Rodriguez, who once again evidenced all of his goalscoring prowess to seal maximum points for the Madrid outfit. This was the striker's third goal of the season for an Alcorcon side who have found the net just four times in the opening eight matchdays.

CD Lugo 3-1 RCD Mallorca

The Galician outfit staged a sterling comeback in a game in which they were made to come from behind after Brandon had put the Islanders into the ascendancy. Carlos Pita promptly drew Lugo level, before Joselu - one of the division's leading marksmen - bagged a brace to ensure that the hosts retain their unbeaten start to the campaign.

R. Zaragoza 1-1 Cordoba CF

These two sides served up a fine spectacle at La Romareda. It was Zaragoza who drew first blood when Rodri tucked home a 23rd-minute spot-kick to extend his recent scoring streak. However, the hosts' joy was short-lived as Antonio Cabrera restored parity just four minutes later to secure a share of the spoils.

UCAM Murcia CF 2-2 CD Mirandes

La Condomina bore witness to a vibrant encounter which started sweetly for the home side thanks to a goal by Jona in the 23rd minute. However, Mirandes kept their spirits up and managed to turn things around before the interval through Fran Cruz (33') and Nestor Salinas (41'). Nono salvaged a point for UCAM nine minutes from time.

Girona FC 1-0 CF Reus

A right-footed rocket courtesy of Portu gave Girona the win in the first Catalan derby of the season, sentencing Reus to their first defeat this term. The three points earned by the Montilivi-based outfit means that they move into the playoff places.

Levante UD 3-2 R. Valladolid CF

It was more of the same at the Ciutat de Valencia. Levante notched up another victory and continue at the top of the LaLiga 1l2l3 table. Although the visitors took the lead through an Ivan Lopez own goal, a brace by Roger and a goal by Jason turned the clash on its head. Iban Salvador pulled one back on 87 minutes and the game ended 3-2.

CD Tenerife 0-0 Getafe CF

There were few chances to speak of at the Heliodoro Rodriguez Lopez and the game between Tenerife and Getafe ended goalless. Both teams finished with 10 men, with Haythem Jouini seeing red for the home team and Jorge Molina following suit for the visitors. The result leaves Tenerife in 14th place, while Getafe remain in the drop zone.

R.Oviedo 2-2 CD Numancia

Numancia came within a whisker of victory in a thriller at the Nuevo Carlos Tartiere, but departed still having failed to register a win at Oviedo's ground. Regalon and Manu del Moral put Numancia in the ascendency on two separate occasions, but Toche's strike and Alexander Callens' own goal ensured that it ended all square at two apiece, with both teams sitting in the bottom half of the league standings.

Rayo Vallecano 3-0 Cadiz CF

Rayo Vallecano strung together their third consecutive home victory and looked like a force to be reckoned with against Cadiz. Adrian Embarba grabbed the opener shortly after missing a penalty before Alex Moreno and Miku sealed the three points in the second half to move Rayo up to ninth place.
