LaLiga SmartBank clubs have made more than 230 new signings in the 2020 summer transfer market, with many of them taking place on deadline day. UD Almeria, Rayo Vallecano, Girona FC, CD Tenerife, and AD Alcorcon were among the clubs that opted to make last-minute signings.
Among the most prominent movers are goalkeeper Luca Zidane, who has signed for Rayo Vallecano following a spell on loan at R. Racing Club in LaLiga SmartBank, Marc Cardona, who has left CA Osasuna to feature in RCD Mallorca’s forward line; Nigerian striker Umar Sadiq, who has signed for UD Almeria from Partizan Belgrade; and Alvaro Vadillo, who RCD Espanyol have incorporated into their ranks with the deadline approaching.
Aside from LaLiga SmartBank’s newly promoted clubs, Girona FC, CD Tenerife, CD Mirandes and AD Alcorcon have been the busiest clubs in terms of recruiting new players, especially on deadline day.
