Brandon named LaLiga 1l2l3 Player of the Month for October

RCD Mallorca striker Brandon has been named the LaLiga 1l2l3 Player of the Month for October after making a major contribution to the islanders' upturn in fortunes, which saw them record two wins and draws apiece during the past month.

As his side's top scorer, Brandon has had a major hand in Mallorca's recent improved run of results. At just 21, the youth-team graduate - who notched six goals during October - is a key member of Fernando Vazquez's squad. Last season saw Brandon end the campaign as his team's leading marksman and he's on track to repeat the feat this time round.

This accolade - which is awarded by Santander, the competition's main sponsor, and voted for by the LaLiga.es writers - was presented by Guillermo Saiz Herranz, the bank's director of Zone for Mallorca. This distinction recognises Brandon's goalscoring instinct and his impressive work ethic, which combine to make him one of the division's most in-form players.
