The year 2016 is proving to be a special one for RCD Mallorca. The institution, who celebrate their centenary this year, are making big moves towards developing their youth academy, investing in young players with an eye to the future.
Mallorca and U.S.E. AMERICA (University Sport Expos) have signed an agreement whereby some of the club's youth team players will be able to go to the USA on scholarships, and continue their football education at the same time as playing in the University leagues. It's an ambitious project which is looking to develop the club's young players in the hope that they will eventually progress to the Mallorca first team.
