The Basque Derby: the perfect finale for LALIGA EXPERIENCE

The fourth stop of the season of LALIGA EXPERIENCE came with a bang in the city of Bilbao with Athletic Club as the master of ceremonies of a unique experience.

After a series of activities in which they were able to get to know the gastronomy and the city of Bilbao in depth, this unforgettable experience ended from the San Mamés box where they were able to enjoy the exciting match between Athletic Club and Real Sociedad.

In the previous days, our guests were able to visit the Lezama Sports City where, in addition to witnessing the training sessions of the men's and women's first team, they met a legend of the Bilbao club: José Ángel Iribar. Together with the Sporting Director, Mikel González, they learned more about the idiosyncrasies of a historic team in LALIGA EA SPORTS. Before the end of the visit, they had the opportunity to have an exclusive interview with players Nico Williams, Unai Simón and Ander Herrera.

In addition, they also got to see the ins and outs of the magnificent San Mamés stadium. On the morning of the match, another legend of the club, Julen Guerrero, greeted our guests, who later on attended the arrival of the protagonists of the match. Another legend of Athletic Club, Andoni Goikoetxea, greeted them on their arrival at the stadium and presented them with a very special souvenir.

Before the ball was kicked off, they enjoyed the players warming up on the field. Once the match was over, our international operators had the opportunity to interview the protagonists of the match for their respective countries.
