Verza's skill
After 25 minutes, the scoreboard got its first point, when this Levante UD footballer masterfully executed a direct free kick. The ball bounced off Javi Varas's goal post, just managing to touch it. Morales picked up the rebound and, all alone, put the ball in the back of the net, this being his fourth goal of the season.
Deyverson, in impeccable form
The Brazilian footballer was at the top of his game. The Levante UD player has scored in the last three games and against UD Las Palmas he did not disappoint. Jefferson Lerma delivered the pass, while Deyverson picked it up and, with a cross-shot, made short work of Javi Varas.
No hesitation from Willian José
On two separate occasions, the Las Palmas player led his team's counter-attack. First, he brought the score to 2-1 with a masterful shot from the edge of the area. He then made it 3-2, taking advantage of Levante's complacency and keeping his side in the match.
The effectiveness of Morales
He was the man behind the first goal and also the third, as well as being one of the best players in the match. This time, he did not need Verza's help. He broke away from the wing and unleashed the perfect cross-shot, sealing Levante's triumph.
Giuseppe Rossi's debut
The Italian footballer returned to La Liga, joining the ranks of Levante, after his time at Villarreal CF. The team's fans thoroughly enjoyed the first minutes of their flamboyant new signing, when, 38 minutes into the game, after a great solo run, he almost pulled off the debut of their dreams.
