Los Rojiblancos are also regulars in this competition. The Atleti academy will be playing again in Maspalomas, where they will attempt to improve on last year’s performance and make their way through to the knockout stages by displaying their hallmarks: courage and heart.
BORUSSIA DORTMUND
The Black and Yellows are one of the most regular competitors in this tournament, and they will put German football on show for us again this year. At Maspalomas they will attempt to prove that they are one of the standout academies on the global football scene.
CD TENERIFE
The outfit from the neighbouring island of Tenerife will hop over to Gran Canaria to play in a very special competition. ‘El Tete’ will take on the world’s top academies in a magical tournament which they will have the honour of playing in once again.
FC BARCELONA
There is not that much to add about La Masia and its role in this tournament, where its youngsters have been demonstrating their excellent quality and leadership in youth football in a way very few others can match. The Catalans will be looking to salve the wounds of losing the final last year.
JUVENTUS
The Bianconeri return to the Canary Islands to take part in LALIGA FC FUTURES yet again. The Italian side will be seeking to dispatch the international participants and also the Spanish academies to lift the trophy.
REAL BETIS
One of the most experienced teams in this tournament. The young Verdiblancos will attempt to repeat their impressive performance in the previous campaign, when they were knocked out in the semi-finals after a superb run which put the quality of Andalusian football on global display.
REAL MADRID
Los Blancos are always one to watch in these types of tournaments and this time around they will be determined to improve on their performance last year, when they were knocked out in the quarterfinals. And they will do so with a generation who have been making great strides and impressing with their level of play.
SEVILLA FC
The Andalusian outfit always bring a wealth of talent to LALIGA FC FUTURES tournaments, and this time will be no different. The Sevillians are set to field an outstanding group at Maspalomas who have already done extremely well in similar tournaments. Now they will be looking to consolidate their place among the elite.
UD LAS PALMAS
The hosts will be keen to draw on the local pride and win the LALIGA FC FUTURES trophy on their home turf, despite having to face some of the most powerful academies in world football. Will they manage to surprise everyone in this edition?
VILLARREAL CF
The Groguet understudies will be present for another edition of the competition after putting in several good performances in recent years. The young promises will be seeking to follow in the footsteps of their predecessors who went on to graduate to the Villarreal first team.
LIVERPOOL FC
The Reds head into a new edition of LALIGA FC FUTURES as the leading exponents of the English game. This legendary academy has a history of feeding the first team with top players and they will be seeking to shine yet again at Maspalomas.
REAL SOCIEDAD
The Txuri-Urdin are one of the newcomers in this edition, not having played last time out. Following their appearance in the National Tournament, they now face the challenge of taking on the best outfits in the world in an event that the young players will surely never forget.
RAYO VALLECANO
One of the three Madrilenian teams who will be taking part in the competition and also one of the major newcomers with respect to previous editions. Rayo will be intent on causing a stir and winning the title in this edition, following in the footsteps of the other two teams from the capital city.
OLYMPIQUE DE MARSEILLE
The French side are regulars in the international edition of LALIGA FC FUTURES. Many top talents have emerged from their ranks in recent years, and we are sure to see some French football stars in the making among them at Maspalomas.
