Alvaro Cervera named LaLiga 1l2l3 Manager of the Month for December

Alvaro Cervera has been named the LaLiga 1l2l3 Manager of the Month for December. The 51-year-old oversaw his Cadiz team enjoy a fantastic run of form last month, with the Andalusian outfit winning all three of their matches.

With Cervera at the helm, Cadiz have turned themselves into prime candidates to reach LaLiga Santander next season, despite the fact that they only achieved promotion from Segunda Division B in the 2015/16 campaign. The south coast side ended 2016 on a high, climbing up to fourth spot after beating R. Zaragoza 3-0, Cordoba CF 3-1 and Sevilla Atletico 4-1.

This accolade, which is awarded by Santander, the competition's main sponsor, and voted for by the LaLiga.es writers, was presented to him by Mr. Mario Blanco Martín, Director de Zona Cádiz.
