This is an integrating initiative of social responsibility and pioneer in the world, which LALIGA develops through its Foundation, consisting of the creation of a League made up of teams from the ID collective (people with intellectual disabilities), and which began in the 2017/2018 season.

OBJECTIVES

The objectives of LALIGA GENUINE are:

Normalization of the practice of football in the group of people with intellectual disabilities.
Commitment of professional football with this integrating and socially responsible project.
Promote thaT LALIGA clubs have their Genuine team.

WHO CAN PARTICIPATE?

The teams are single or mixed category (male and female). They can include participating players who have turned sixteen on the date that the call for the phase in which they were to participate is sent. In addition, they must prove, through official documentation, that they have a minimum intellectual disability of 33%.

COMPETITION SYSTEM

The competition is played in the Football 8 mode, in matches of 4 parts of 10 minutes each. The 2024/25 season is divided into 4 phases, and will take place in 6 venues. There are a total of 47 teams registered.

THE VALUES OF THE COMPETITION

In LALIGA GENUINE, not only do sports results add up, but also the positive attitudes of sportsmanship shown during matches. For this reason, the teams will have a series of points each day that will reward the behavior and actions of sportsmanship and fair play of players, coaches and fans.
