Robert Lewandowski named LALIGA EA SPORTS Player of the Month for February

Robert Lewandowski has been voted the LALIGA EA SPORTS Player of the Month for February, an accolade awarded by LALIGA in partnership with EA. The Blaugrana frontman made a noteworthy contribution in a month which saw Barcelona reap three victories in the four games played.

FC Barcelona ran out 3-1 winners away to Deportivo Alaves with Lewandowski on the scoresheet. They also won 2-1 on their travels to Celta Vigo, where the Pole was on cue again with a brace for his team, before dispatching Getafe FC 4-0. In the latter match, the number 9 failed to find the back of the net, but nonetheless put in a fine performance. In the other game played in February, Barcelona drew 3-3 with Granada CF, with Lewandoski among the goalscorers once again.
