Paco Herrera named LaLiga 1l2l3 Manager of the Month for January

Paco Herrera has been named the LaLiga 1l2l3 Manager of the Month for January thanks to an upturn in R Valladolid's league form over the course of last month.

Valladolid are showing some of their best form of the season and kicked off the new year just as they ended the last, with a win. Paco Herrera can take a lot of credit for his team's impressive run of results after Valladolid picked up three wins and suffered just one defeat in January, a string of results that catapulted them up to fifth in the table, just three points adrift of third place.

This accolade - which is awarded by Banco Santander, the competition's main sponsor, and voted for by the LaLiga.es writers - was presented by Don Daniel García Martínez, Director of the Castilla y León area.
