The battle for survival is still raging on matchday 36 of the Liga BBVA, with UD Almería fighting to climb out of the bottom zone versus a Real Betis Balompié whose relegation was confirmed last week.
Almería are aware that the clash against the bottom club is vital for their future: "The three points in Barcelona have given us strength, but we still haven't achieved anything", said keeper Esteban Suárez.
Francisco Rodríguez will be hoping to find some peace of mind against a Betis who have nothing to gain from the match but will want to compete to the end. "This week we trained like any other. Despite knowing that we’re going down to the Liga Adelante, the intensity is the same", said the manager Gabriel Calderón.
For Almería, Ángel Trujillo is unavailable through suspension and Sebastián Dubardier is out injured, while the verdiblancos will be without Antonio Amaya, Dídac Vilà, Nacho Pérez, Nono, Chuli and Xavi Torres, who has long-term injury.
