Pau Cubarsi named LALIGA EA SPORTS Under-23 Player of the Month for March

Pau Cubarsi has been named the LALIGA EA SPORTS Under-23 Player of the Month for March, an award handed out by LALIGA in partnership with Sorare. The fledgling FC Barcelona player has carved out a regular place for himself in the Blaugrana lineup at the age of just 17.

Cubarsi’s regularity and defensive solidity, together with his proven ability to play the ball out, make this youngster one of the major breakout players this season and one of the first names on the team sheet for his strongest champion, Xavi Hernandez. Cubarsi has staged a meteoric rise in his maiden season at professional level, and has received his first call-up by Luis de la Fuente to join the Spain squad.

The Barcelona number 33 receives the Under-23 Player of the Month Award after coming out on top in the voting ahead of Giorgi Mamardashvili (Valencia CF), Alex Baena (Villarreal FC), Beñat Prados (Athletic Club) and Eduardo Camavinga (Real Madrid).
