LALIGA+ expands its motor content offering with Formula E on Eurosport

LALIGA's OTT platform, LALIGA+, continues to grow and strengthen its commitment to sports by adding one of the most exciting motorsport championships in the world to its extensive content lineup: the ABB FIA Formula E World Championship. Starting in December, motorsport enthusiasts will be able to watch all Formula E races live through Eurosport’s TV channels. Additionally, there will be exclusive reports, interviews, documentaries, and all the best content surrounding the championship.

Formula E is the world’s leading electric single-seater racing series and has established itself as one of the most innovative championships in motorsport. Founded in 2014, it brings together the industry's leading manufacturers, such as Porsche, Jaguar, Nissan, McLaren and Maserati, among others, racing on urban circuits in iconic cities like London, Berlin, Monaco, Tokyo, Miami, and Mexico City. 

This championship not only stands out for the speed and performance of its electric vehicles but also for its commitment to sustainability and technological innovation, leading the transition toward a greener future in motorsport and transferring technology directly from the race track to road cars we drive today.     

Formula E joins the varied sports offering from LALIGA+, which already includes such outstanding content such as the Copa Libertadores, the Primera FEB basketball league, the Plenitude ASOBAL handball league and competitions from various sports federations such as gymnastics and athletics. LALIGA+ includes Eurosport 1 and Eurosport 2, that offer some of the most important international sports competitions, including La Vuelta a España, the Tour de France, and the Australian Open tennis tournament.
