Real Zaragoza found their winning touch when they visited the Balearic Island of Mallorca, taking the three points 2-4, largely down to 10 crazy first half minutes. The Chilean Ángelo Henríquez was the standout performer with two goals.
At the start of the first half both sides showed that they mean business, and are looking to earn promotion from Liga Adelante. The ball was evenly shared out, as were the opportunities, however it wasn’t until ten minutes from the end of the half when the goals finally arrived. Paco Herrera’s Zaragoza went 0-3 ahead thanks to a goal from Walter Acevedo and a quick fire double by Henríquez, however just before the break, Agus gave the home side a way back into the tie.
José Javier Barkero extended the away side’s advantage with a long-range effort at the opening of the second half, however when the match seemed over, Víctor Casadesús scored a penalty to breathe life into the contest once again. In the end, the side from the Balearic Island didn’t have enough to narrow the score line, and the spoils went to the visitors.
