An unforgettable experience with RCD Espanyol

A new edition of LALIGA EXPERIENCE 2024/25 has come to an end, although none of the guests wanted it to end. It will not be easy to forget all the experiences enjoyed by the guests of the international LALIGA operators: 1001 TV Iraq, SCTV Vietnam and Silk Sport Georgia.

A trip that began at the RCD Espanyol facilities, which opened the doors of the Dani Jarque Sports City to LALIGA EXPERIENCE. Our guests enjoyed watching the first team training and had the opportunity to meet the club's head of methodology, Gerard Bofill, and Jaume Milà, grassroots football coordinator, where they were able to see first-hand all the work involved in getting a player from the youth academy into the first team.

The adventure continued at the RCDE Stadium, where our guests were truly fascinated by every corner of the home of the ‘Pericos’, as they are known, and where they would return on the last day of this fascinating experience. They had the unique opportunity to have lunch inside the stadium with World Champion and club legend Joan Capdevila. There was also time to visit the Mediapro headquarters, where the magic of everything viewers see on television happens.

The following day, the guests had the opportunity to visit iconic places in the city of Barcelona, such as the Sagrada Familia or the famous Las Ramblas area, also taking the opportunity to taste the typical tapas of Spanish cuisine.

Saturday would be the climax of this great adventure. RCD Espanyol and Real Madrid were playing each other in matchday 22 of the LALIGA EA SPORTS and our guests had the opportunity to experience it live as privileged spectators. They met up again with Joan Capdevila, who presented them with a gift in gratitude for their visit and had the honour of awarding the prize to Nabaa Aldabbagh and Abdullah Khaleel as MVPs of this edition.

The whole group witnessed the arrival of both teams at the stadium, had exclusive access to the home changing room during the pre-match and then went out onto the pitch, where they watched both teams warm up, enjoyed the atmosphere in the stands and the light show before the match. They also had the chance to interview Edu Expósito, the club's midfielder, before the game.

The last stop was to watch the match from a privileged area of the stadium, where they cheered and enjoyed some memories for a lifetime and where they were able to interview Álex Kral, Roberto and Joan García in a flash interview once the match had ended with a 1-0 victory for the ‘Pericos’.
