Alfredo Ortuño named LaLiga 1|2|3 Player of the Month for December

Cadiz CF striker Alfredo Ortuño has been named the LaLiga 1|2|3 Player of the Month for December off the back of a string of sterling performances for the Andalusian outfit.

The Spaniard was certainly at his best in December, racking up four goals in just three games. The 25-year-old began the month by getting on the scoresheet in the 3-0 win against R. Zaragoza, which was followed by a brace in the 3-1 away win at Cordoba CF before rounding off the calendar year with the opening goal in the convincing 4-1 success over Sevilla Atletico.

This accolade, which is awarded by Santander, the competition's main sponsor, and voted for by the LaLiga.es writers, was presented by Mr. Guillermo Martínez Cordero, Director de la Oficina de Sanlúcar de Barrameda..
