Alberto Toril celebrated his 50th match in the Liga Adelante with Real Madrid Castilla's first victory of the 2013/14 season.
Toril has taken eight matches to open his account of Liga Adelante victories in the 2013/14 season. The reserve team sealed its first win against CD Lugo thanks to goals from Omar Mascarell and Jaime Romero.
The celebrations had extra meaning for José Alberto Toril. Against Lugo, Castilla's coach was managing his 50th Liga Adelante match, all of them at the helm of Real Madrid's reserves. Toril made his debut in the division on the 17th of August 2012 against Villarreal CF, when the Whites returned to Spanish football's second flight.
In 2011, Toril took charge of Real Madrid Castilla in the Segunda División B, and after nearly two seasons he won promotion to the Liga Adelante. So far, the Whites' manager has accumulated 18 victories, 8 draws and 24 defeats, with 84 goals for and 72 against.
