For the third consecutive year, ESPN Wide World of Sports Complex located at Walt Disney World Resort near Orlando, Florida will be the venue for the 8th LALIGA FC FUTURES International Tournament. On June 13th, 14th, and 15th, the 12 participating teams (7 LALIGA and 5 international teams) will compete in the prestigious tournament.
The tournament will once again be held at ESPN Wide World of Sports Complex at Walt Disney World Resort, thanks to the extension of the landmark agreement between LALIGA and ESPN. This milestone agreement follows the creation of LALIGA North America, a joint venture between LALIGA and Relevent Sports launched in 2018 with the aim of contributing to the growth of soccer in the U.S. and bringing LALIGA, its clubs and players closer to U.S. fans.
The tournament, co-organized by LALIGA and the José Ramón de la Morena Foundation, can be followed live in Spain on GOL PLAY, DAZN LALIGA, Movistar LALIGA TV, Vamos, LALIGA TV HYPERMOTION, LALIGA TV BAR, LALIGA+ and the official LALIGA accounts on YouTube, Facebook, Twitter, Twitch and TikTok.
ESPN+ and ESPN Deportes will broadcast the tournament live for the American market.
The teams will be divided into four groups, as follows:
-Group A: FC Barcelona, Real Sociedad, Inter Miami CF.
-Group B: Real Madrid, Villarreal CF, Hassania Agadir.
-Group C: Atlético de Madrid, Sevilla FC, IdeaSport SA.
-Group D: Real Betis, Orlando City, CR Flamengo.
Matches will kick off on Thursday 13 June at 9:30am local time (3:30pm Spanish time). On Friday, the matches will start at 9:00am local time (3:00pm Spanish time), with the first semi-final taking place at 7:00pm local time. The final will be played on Saturday at 9:30am (3:30pm Spanish time).
