Isco is named LALIGA EA SPORTS POTM for April

Isco Alarcón has been named LALIGA EA SPORTS Player of the Month for April, an award presented by LALIGA in conjunction with EA. The Spanish midfielder has excelled in last month for Real Betis whose results have been two wins and a draw, taking seven points from a possible nine.

Isco has had three great performances this month, scoring a goal and providing an assist. Real Betis secured a tightly fought 2-1 win over RC Celta at the Benito Villamarín where Isco provided a fantastic assist for Fekir. They also won the LALIGA EA SPORTS Play of the Month award for April. Betis beat seventh-place Valencia CF 1-2 away at Mestalla. An important win over a team close to them in the league. The also had the in El Gran Derbi against Sevilla FC this month. Isco scored from the penalty spot to secure a 1-1 draw for Betis.

These results have kept the Andalusian side ahead of Valencia CF in the battle for seventh place in the table and have left them just two points behind sixth-placed Real Sociedad.

This is the first time this season that the playmaker has won the award. Isco won the final vote over these other nominees for the award: Iago Aspas (RC Celta), Ýoussef En-Nesyri (Sevilla FC), Savinho (Girona FC) and a Vini Jr. who won last month's award.
