'Choco' Lozano named LaLiga 1|2|3 Player of the Month for May

Anthony 'Choco' Lozano, the CD Tenerife striker, has been named the LaLiga 1|2|3 Player of the Month for May after making a decisive contribution for his team last month.

The Honduran frontman demonstrated his nose for goal in May, scoring a total of four and helping the islanders to consolidate their position in the playoff places. He kicked off the month in style, netting the winner in the 2-1 victory over CD Lugo, before going on to register a brace in the 2-2 draw against SD Huesca, and finally opening the scoring in the 3-1 away win over AD Alcorcon.

This accolade, which is awarded by Santander, the competition's main sponsor, and voted for by the LaLiga.es writers, was presented by Enrique Arias Garitagoitia, Director de Zona Tenerife of Santander.
