Matchday eight of the Liga Adelante witnessed a duel between two sides in sensational form, CD Lugo and Real Zaragoza, ending 3-3. The team managed by Víctor Muñoz took the lead twice and secured a point with a goal from Willian José in the 93rd minute.
Borja Bastón was the star of the first half. The Zaragoza striker opened the scoring in the 12th minute from the penalty spot. A lovely free kick from David López made it 1-1 in the 23rd minute, but Bastón put the visitors ahead again with his fifth goal in the Liga Adelante.
After the break, Lugo controlled possession and Zaragoza looked to counter-attack. In the 71st minute the home side mounted a comeback, first with a goal from David López, who bagged a brace in the match. Ten minutes later, Luis Fernández, who had been on the field for just one minute, made it 3-2.
But Zaragoza did not give up and the Brazilian Willian José scored the goal that made it 3-3 with an excellent shot from a free kick in the 93rd minute, leaving both sides with 13 points, 4 behind Girona FC who lead the table with 17.
