The Ivory Coast, Venezuela, France and Romania… the scoring charts in the Liga Adelante really do have a very international feel to them, with players from over ten different countries having hit the target in the Spanish second tier since the start of the season. Read on to find out which country and which foreign marksman has been the most prolific and has been able to enjoy one of the best feelings in the world, namely that of scoring a goal, on the highest number of occasions. 

After 29 matchdays, Argentina leads the way, with players born in the South American country topping these particular Liga Adelante scoring charts with a total of 23 goals. League leaders CD Leganes's Alexander Szymanowski, has been on target nine times, whilst compatriot, Pablo Caballero has netted nine times for CD Lugo.

Behind the Argentinian pair come players hailing from the Ivory Coast, who have struck 19 times between them. RCD Mallorca's Lago Junior has notched nine goals, making him the deadliest Ivorian in the Liga Adelante. Junior is followed by Gimnastic's Jean Luc and R.Oviedo man Mamadou Kone, who have both registered five goals.

The third place of the podium is occupied by Romania with 14 goals. Cordoba CF striker Florin Andone has scored 13 goals, while AD Alcorcon player Razvan registered the other one.
