-RCD Espanyol: Gerard Moreno (injured)
Match Facts:
Rayo Vallecano (15th, 7 pts):
- The last "Rayista" victory in Liga BBVA goes back to the matchday 5, when Paco Jemez´s team defeated Sporting 2-1 at Vallecas. Last year at this point the club from Vallecas added three points and was ninth in the standings.
- Despite the defeat, the image left by Rayo in the Camp Nou reinforces the squad, as it took the lead at the start of the match and put the "Azulgranas" on the ropes.
- Improve the results at home is one of the Paco Jemez´s targets to the match against Espanyol. A win and a draw in four games is a poor baggage.
RCD Espanyol (9th, 12 pts):
- Sergio Gonzalez´s team returns to play away from Power8 Stadium, where they have reaped two wins and two defeats. Their last away game was at the Benito Villamarin, where they gained a resounding 1-3 victory.
- Espanyol has scored up to seven goals as visitor, which makes it the second team that has scored more away goals after Real Madrid (9).
-Good memories. The "Periquitos" have earned two victories in their last two visits to Vallecas (1-3 and 1-4). Last season a doublet from Sergio Garcia and another goal by Lucas Vázquez took the three points to Barcelona.
