Real Betis Balompié host Rayo Vallecano in the Estadio Benito Villamarín on the fifteenth matchday of the Liga BBVA.
The team from Seville, with three points fewer than Rayo, are looking to end their bad run of results and win another game (something they have not done since matchday seven). Betis' coach explained: "The important thing in professional football is immediacy. I hope we can find the intensity that the match requires and that luck is on our side". Xavi Torres, Javier Matilla and Paulao will be absent for the club's visit to Vallecas.
They will be faced with Rayo, who are currently propping up the table and have a great opportunity this weekend to move away from the positions that only offer relegation to the Liga Adelante. Their manager, Paco Jémez, spoke about this. "It is a match that if we win it we will escape the relegation zone", said the coach, who also stated that "it is not definitive because there are many months to go, but it is a giant step for us". Nery Castillo and goalkeeper Ismael Gil are the only new faces in the Madrid side's squad, which will be without Zé Castro, Rodri, Gálvez, José Carlos and Seba Fernández.
