The Spanish Professional Football Foundation leads a project, co-funded by the European Commission that aims to facilitate tools to sportive and social organizations linked to football in order to start social projects targeted to Young people using football as a key success factor.
The international dimension of the Project is given by the participation of several European entities: The Football League Trust (United Kingdom), FK Bangas (Lithuania) y Liga Profesionista de Fotbal (Romania). This international partnership will allow to develop European training tools that will benefit those – entities and individuals – who are willing to bring a social dimension to sportive projects. At the same time it will allow to incorporate the education through sport to social initiatives.
IMPULSA – Promoting social football will offer a comprehensive training package to youth workers, volunteers and staff of sport entities, so they will gain abilities to spread strategies that will positively impact in youth through the motivating potential of football.
The training process will offer learning opportunities through non formal education around three key content areas: not for profit management of entities and projects, social inclusion and education, and education through sport. The training process will be implemented through an E-Learning Platform, a training campus and a coaching process to define and set up projects by beneficiaries.
Aiming to offer detailed information on IMPULSA Project a web page has been developed: http://impulsa-ffp.com, available in all languages of participating partners. The weeks to follow, expression of interest from potential beneficiaries will be collected through the contact form contained in the web.
