Matchday 10 of the Liga BBVA will come to an end with a vibrant encounter between two sides that are creating a buzz in the competition. Rayo Vallecano will be put to the test by SD Eibar, a recently promoted side that have shown that they are ready to stand up and fight in the top tier of Spanish football. The visitors will look to get back to winning ways after four draws in five games, while the Madrid side have won three of their last five fixtures.

The Vallecas side’s manager, Paco Jémez, suggested there would be no major changes to his starting eleven against the Basque side, indicating that he hopes that his team will keep doing the things they have been doing well. Forward Alberto Bueno, who has been out injured for several weeks, is Jémez's only doubt in his matchday squad. Meanwhile, Jon Errasti returns for Gaizka Garitano for Eibar’s trip to the capital.
