The #LigaBBVAExperience rolls into the capital

Malaga, Valencia, Las Palmas, Donostia, and now Madrid. The fifth instalment of the #LigaBBVAExperience is underway and augurs another weekend packed with culture, fine food and the best football. But let's not get ahead of ourselves.

Today was a day of introductions, of touching base. On their arrival from Argentina, Uruguay, Peru, Ecuador, Chile, Colombia, Venezuela and Mexico, the LaLiga fans found a welcome pack waiting for them which was carefully designed to immerse them in the experience offered by this exclusive weekend: both teams' shirts, face paints, scarves, pens... In short, all of the requisite paraphernalia to experience Sunday's game in true style.

Once they were fully kitted out, it was time to peruse the roadmap for the weekend. The 11 viewers of DirecTV (the broadcaster in Argentina and Central America) and Sky Mexico (the broadcaster in Mexico) now know what awaits them over the course of the next two days. During a delicious dinner at the Meson 5 Jotas they had the opportunity to share any concerns and chat about the experience which they are embarking on – one which promises to be unforgettable: "It's going to be a great weekend," one of them remarked during the meal.
