RC Celta de Vigo will host FC Barcelona on Tuesday at 22:00 on matchday eleven of the Liga BBVA, both teams having recorded important victories at the weekend.
The Galician team thrashed Málaga CF 5-0 at home on Saturday, a result that meant Celta moved up the league table. For the tie against the leaders, the coach Luis Enrique, who used to play for the Azulgranas, will be without the injured Carlos Bellvís, Samuel Llorca and Mario Bermejo. Michael Krohn-Dehli, for his part, still has an injured ankle. "If we want a chance to win, they will have to have a difficult day and we will have to play our best football", explained the coach from Asturias.
For its part, the side managed by Gerardo Martino sealed a win that was key for the team to be able to stay at the top of the Liga BBVA on its own, as it beat Real Madrid CF 2-1. "Winning the Clásico is always a significant mental blow. Regarding Celta, it is important to look at their last match, because they played well", explained the Argentinian coach, who has left Gerard Piqué, Isaac Cuenca and Oier Olazábal out of the squad for strategic reasons, and Jonathan Dos Santos, Jordi Alba and Ibrahim Afellay will miss the game due to injuries.
