The fight for safety on La Liga TV

Just like every weekend, the finest football is back on La Liga TV. As many as seven matches from the Liga Adelante will take centre stage on the Liga de Fútbol Profesional's official channel, with no geographical restrictions and completely free of charge.

The Liga Adelante matchday 28 action will begin on Saturday. CD Numancia and CD Mirandés will meet at 4pm on 7 March. With both sides level on 35 points, this regional derby will serve two purposes: moving away from the relegation zone and focusing in on sixth place in the table.

Having picking up ten points from their last five matches, CD Lugo have been ascending the league table of late. The Galician club play hosts to a FC Barcelona B side that dropped into the relegation places last weekend at 6pm.

There is a double header at 8pm with Albacete B - CE Sabadell and CD Tenerife - CD Leganés. The Castile-La Mancha outfit have picked up points from their last three encounters, while Juan Carlos Mandiá’s charges recorded their first win in seven games last weekend. On the back of playing derbies in their last outings, Tenerife and Leganés face off in the Heliodoro Rodríguez López stadium.

Sunday's action on La Liga TV starts at 4pm with UE Llagostera taking on D Alavés. The Vitoria team will be putting the good form the Catalans experienced during February to the test. At Girona FC travel to SC Ponferradina for a 5pm kick off in their efforts to remain in the title race.

The curtain closes on the matchday with AD Alcorcón vs. RC Recreativo at 9pm in the Santo Domingo stadium. Both sides returned to winning ways last weekend and will be looking to keep their positive streaks alive.
