The excitement of the Liga Adelante continues on Sunday

RCD Mallorca - R. Sporting

An attractive clash at the Iberostar Stadium with a Bermellones side who have got back on track in the Liga Adelante with five straight wins, to go seven matchdays unbeaten. Sporting arrive on the island sitting in the top part of the table and are the only team in the division yet to taste defeat this season.

R. Racing C. - AD Alcorcón

The home side, four points below Alcorcón, will aim to defeat an Alfareros team who arrive in Santander after a hard-fought 1-0 victory over CD Lugo at the Santo Domingo Stadium and will aim to take another step forward to move into the top spots. “Alcorcón are a strong, intense and solid side that have a squad that can take them to the top part of the table”, said Francisco Fernández, the Racing manager.

RC Recreativo - CD Mirandés

An attractive game between the Huelva side, who will try to win like they did in their last home fixture, and a Rojillos team who have not won away since 30 August, when they beat Racing 1-2. The Recreativo boss, José Luis Oltra, has a depleted squad with several players unavailable for this encounter. Antonio Zamora, Jesús Cabrera, Dimas and Ángel Montoro are all injured. Menosse is also unavailable after being sent off in their last game.

FC Barcelona B - Albacete B.

For Barcelona this clash will be a chance to get back to winning ways after three draws and two losses. They face Albacete, who although bottom of the table have their tails up after winning two of their last three encounters. Kaptoum and Lucas Gafarot, for the home side, and Dorronsoro, Edu Ramos and Keko, for the visitors, will be notably absent in this game.

R. Zaragoza - SD Ponferradina  

Zaragoza and Ponferradina will feature in one of the most interesting clashes of the round, with Zaragoza fighting to turn their situation around and get back to winning ways, as the El Bierzo side did at the El Sadar Stadium, before their 4-4 home draw against Barcelona B. One of the big attractions of this encounter will be watching Ranko Popović’s first game as the Zaragoza boss.

CD Lugo - CD Tenerife

Matchday 15 of the Liga Adelante will come to a close with a thrilling clash between Lugo and Tenerife. The home side’s manager, Quique Setién, believes that “The team has to improve its position and meet expectations”, but he thinks that “Overall our form has been positive, because the team has be pretty consistent”. His counterpart at Tenerife, Álvaro Cervera, praised the competitiveness of the division: “It seems that everything is very even.”
