The FC Barcelona victory against Sevilla FC (5-4) leaves the "azulgrana" team as champion of the 2015 UEFA Super Cup after one of the most exciting European finals in recent memory.

Review the main keys of the match.

1. Set pieces
Tactics were a weapon for both teams, who dazzled fans across Europe with a final that began with three goals from three direct free kicks. If Ever Banega opened the scoring with a great shot from the edge of the area on the third minute, Leo Messi replied with a couple of free kicks that frustrated Sevilla. In the final minutes of extra time, another free-kick by the Argentine ended with the winning goal by Pedro Rodriguez.

2. The Pedro Rodriguez's factor
Almost unwittingly, and when the game was about to end in a penalties shootout, Pedro Rodriguez seized his minutes and became the turning point. The "canario" striker entered the field in overtime to give oxygen to his team and ended up giving the title with a 5-4 after a stop of goalkeeper Beto Bastos.

3. Early goal
Although the team from Sevilla ended up losing the final, the early Banega´s goal, right at the very beginning of the clash, led to a quick reaction of the Barca side, which rose against the fact of going below on the scoreboard.

4. Unai Emery's new ones
The signings responded perfectly to the demands of a team like Sevilla. With a goal down on the scoreboard, the entry of the new stars led to the draw thanks to a play as a team, which outlined Ciro Immobile from the side and culminated with a goal by Yevhen Konoplyanka. Then, during extra time, both were back again to intimidate the Barca defense.

5. Mental strength
In a very physically demanding game in which pace and action proved decisive in attack, the mental strength became a necessary ally of FC Barcelona. To fit the three goals scored by Sevilla in the second half to draw, and keep the result in a final of the size of the Super Cup became a key point in favor.

6. Rafinha's bid
With Neymar Jr out through injury, Luis Enrique decided to include Rafinha in the starting lineup. The young home grown player, full of energy and attack options, upheld the technician with a key goal that opened the gap to 3-1 just before the break. In the second half, he could even repeat with a header to the crossbar.

7. Possession and control of FC Barcelona
The intensity with which Luis Enrique team played left the Andalusians exhausted in many moments of the clash. And although none of the two teams lowered his arms, possession and control of game by the Catalan team shift the balance in different moments of the game.

8. Busquets role
The restraint exercised of Sergio Busquets in midfield was crucial to maintain the soundness of the Catalan side. But his role became a main star in the fourth goal of his team, when after a loss of Benoît Trémoulinas in defense, gave a perfect pass to Luis Suarez, who did not failed in front of goal.

9. End of game, not for heart disease
After some great work on the right hand side by Immobile, Adil Rami had in his boots a golden chance in the last minute to force a penalties shootout . His shot, however, went over the crossbar and Barcelona could sign the win.

10. Revenge
FC Barcelona lifted the title against the team that snatched the UEFA Super Cup in 2006. Barça won its fifth trophy and equaled AC Milan, while the "hispalenses" were left at the doors for the second year in row after losing last year in the final against Real Madrid (2-0).
