  • The LaLiga stadium with the greatest capacity is La Romareda (34,596 spectators), where Zaragoza play their home games.
  • With the rise of SD Huesca, El Alcoraz is the stadium with the least capacity in the category (5,300 spectators).
  • RCD Mallorca will celebrate their centenary this season.
  • After Athletic Club B's rise, this season will count as the thirteenth season in which they have at least one of their divisons in the Liga Adelante.
  • Real Oviedo has returned to the cateogory after 12 years.
  • UE Llagostera will be taking part in the Liga Adelante for the second season in their history.
  • Trainers Juan Ramon Lopez Muñiz AD Alcorcón), Luis Garcia Tevenet (SD Huesca), Jose Ángel Ziganda (Athletic Club B), Vicente Moreno (Gimnàstic de Tarragona), Jagoba Arrasate (CD Numancia) and Luis Milla (CD Lugo) are to debut in the category.
  • The four teams from Castilla y Leon, (Real Valladolid, CD Numancia, SD Ponferradina and CD Mirandes) make this the best represented Spanish province.
  • This seasson kicks off with only two foreign trainers: Ranko Popovic (Real Zaragoza) and Sergio Egea (Real Oviedo). All other trainers are Spanish nationals.
  • Girona FC is the club that has spent the largest number of consecutive seasons in the category. They will serve their eighth season in a row in the Liga Adelante, one ahead of CD Numancia.
