Sporting lose Álex Barrera

R. Sporting have announced on their official website that the midfielder will be out for between six to seven months following an operation on Wednesday due to a "complete tearing of his anterior cruciate ligament and the posterior horn of the external meniscus of his left knee".

Barrera suffered the injury in the dying stages of last Sunday’s match against CD Mirandés, which his team won 4-1, he even scored the last goal. Up until now, the Asturian player had played a total of 410 minutes over eleven appearances in the Liga Adelante.
