La Liga de Fútbol Profesional, along with the Spanish Football Federation (AFEPE) and the Spanish Footballers' Association (AFE), are pushing on with the scheme, launched last weekend, to show a united front against all forms of violence in the game.
Over the course of the weekend a banner will be laid out on the pitches, bearing the slogan "Supporters + respect = the true spirit of football".
It's Matchday 15 in La Liga BBVA, and Matchday 17 in la Liga Adelante, and the banner will be presented before each game in both tiers. Numerous clubs have also made a point on their websites of supporting the initiative.
Atlético Madrid have made a request to their fans to show "respect and passion at the Calderón". The Rojiblancas have made a call to fans, and provided information on the special security measures for Sunday's matches, intended to ensure that everyone can enjoy the clash with Villareal in safety.
RCD Espanyol have released an official communiqué, "a public, explicit commitment", to join with that of the LFP, for their supporters to "set an example of civility". Real Zaragoza, for their part, have made a point of reminding fans of the behaviour that is expected at the Romareda.
Osasuna and AD Alcorcón have also made a show of solidarity, the Navarrans with a message on their website condemning violence in the game, and the Madrid side calling on supporters to "Score a goal against violence!"
Now, more than ever, we need #futbolsinviolencia – football without violence.
