Sightseeing to the rhythm of Manolo ‘el del Bombo’

With their batteries recharged after the journey which brought them to Spain to enjoy the Liga BBVA, the ten lucky fans living the experience headed to Mestalla stadium first thing in the morning. There they learned some of the secrets of Valencia’s ground and enjoyed the unforgettable experience of feeling like professional footballers, dropping by the dressing rooms, heading out of the tunnel onto the pitch and responding to journalists in the press room.

After 90 minutes at the stadium, as if they had been there for a match, and with the city impregnated with its unique Falles festival atmosphere, they swapped Mestalla for the Plaza del Ayuntamiento. The LaLiga fans headed to the square to get an up-close look at the fireworks display traditionally held in the city at this time of year.

Subsequently, following a pleasant meal overlooking the sea featuring rice and the typical ingredients of the region, the moment came to travel through time at the City of Arts and Sciences – a futuristic venue designed to delight locals and visitors alike. With the people pouring out onto the streets, there was also time to visit the old part of the city, known locally as 'Ciutat Vella', before doing some customary trinket and souvenir shopping.

To finish the day, the Bar Tu Museo Deportivo awaited the fans to give them their final surprise before a well-earned rest. Manolo ‘el del Bombo’ (Manolo ‘the Bass Drummer’) welcomed the fans with some of Spain’s most popular football rhythms. It was just the master class they needed to prepare their vocal chords for the clash between Valencia CF and Atletico Madrid, the final game of the Liga BBVA Matchday 28 which they will have the opportunity to watch live from the stands at Mestalla. The big moment is approaching!
