Our guests descended on the south of Spain with a packed schedule ahead of them in which football and fun would take centre stage. As the lyrics of a famous song suggest, Seville most certainly proved that “it has a special colour” as the visitors soaked up the very best of the vibrant city during their four-day getaway.
After landing in Seville, the winner of the LaLiga Ultimate Challenge competition organised by C More in Finland, Mikko Vans, and former player and current DAZN Italia presenter, Borja Valero, were unveiled as Sevilla FC managers in a high-profile press conference that saw them put pen to paper on their contracts and ended with the presentation of personalised kits signed by the first-team squad.
The press conference kicked off an action-packed four days and the adventure continued the following day with a visit to some of Seville’s must-see landmarks and the Estadio Ramon Sanchez-Pizjuan, where the visitors got a feel for life as a manager and player as they explored the dressing rooms, dugouts, media room and players’ tunnel. In addition, the guests also got the chance to visit Real Betis’s Benito Villamarin and gain a first-hand insight into the club’s history.
However, the best was yet to come as the guests settled down to take in the top-of-the-table tussle between Sevilla and Real Madrid at a packed Sanchez-Pizjuan, where the home faithful boomed out the club’s fabled anthem to give the guests a once-in-a-lifetime, goosebump-inducing experience.
