Sevilla FC recorded their third consecutive win after downing UD Almería 1-3 at the Estadio de los Juegos Mediterráneos in the 27th round of Liga BBVA.
The game started with both sides trying to get the upper hand, but it was Sevilla who created the better chances, forcing Esteban Suárez into action. Just after the half hour mark it was the visitors, who had previously missed a glorious chance from a corner, who took the lead through Carlos Bacca, going in 0-1 up at half time.
The second half had barely started when Daniel Carriço put the game beyond Almería, making it 0-2 from a corner. This goal deflated the hosts and Sevilla took advantage, extending their lead through Kevin Gameiro 13 minutes from time. Alex Vidal grabbed a consolation goal for the hosts, but it was too little too late.
